Eldat opens its European head office 

 Paris, July 17, 2000

Eldat communication Ltd.  opened very recently fully owned subsiding in Paris (“Eldat Europe SAS”) as the company’s front end in Europe.

The company is managed by Mr. Jean-Paul Boubal the former manager of EKS France (Eldat’s former OEM distributor). Mr. Boubal is involved with selling technological products to the European retail market for more them 20 years (working for companies as: NCR, BULL, EDS and others).

“This more was necessary due to a significant increase in Europe “ says Mr. Yossi Smoler , Eldat’s president and CEO. “The main objective of opening a company in Europe is to provide closer and faster technical and sales support to our distributors and customers. We are very confident the one customers would perceive this step as a growing commitment of Eldat to its ESL activities within the European market”.

"As we said last year" says Mr. Oron Branitzky, V.P for Marketing & Sales in Eldat, "in year 2000 Eldat would become the leading ESL provider in Europe. We are installing this year in Europe nearly two stores per week. Opening the European office would enable us to have excellent technical support as our customers expect us to provide."
